Chelsea Secure Historic 4:0 Victory Over Hull City in FA Cup
Chelsea made historic win when they played against Hull City
in an FA Cup match on Friday night.
The Blues travelled to the MKM Stadium and beat Hull 0:4.
Pedro Neto scored Hat-trick and Estevao added a fourth after missing big chance in
the first half. Liam Delap played a crucial role in the victory and provided an assist for three goals after
missing an open chance that could have given his team the lead in the first half. Chelsea's victory means they have
recovered from their draw with Leeds United last Tuesday.
Similarly, Liam Rosenior has returned to his former team
since being fired as Tigers coach in May 2024, saying it was an
"emotional" experience for him.
Chelsea's victory over Hull City helped them advance to the
next round of the competition, which they have not won since the 2017-18
season.
Chelsea and Hull City are facing each other in the FA Cup
for the 10th time in their history, with the West London club having emerged
victorious in all their matches, allowing the Blues to break Leicester City
F.C.'s record of 100% wins against Birmingham City F.C. in nine meetings in the
FA Cup competition.
Meanwhile, Hull have only beaten Chelsea once in their last
35 meetings, that victory coming in 1988.
