Arsenal doesn’t have world-class players.
Former Tottenham
Hotspur attacking midfielder Rafael van der Vaart has revealed that Arsenal
currently do not have "world-class" players.
Speaking to Sky
Bet Van der Vaart admitted that Arsenal has some talented players but believes
none of them can be described as world-class. He said: “I agree with Wayne
Rooney, Arsenal doesn’t have world-class players.
” He added "It's
probably fair to say Arsenal have stars and they have some very good players,
but none of them are world class." He also said, “To be a world-class
player, it's not just about your performance; you also need a certain attitude
and presence when you're on the field.”
Arsenal will play Tottenham on Sunday in the North London
derby in the Premier League, a crucial match that could determine the direction
of the title race. The new Tottenham head coach Igor Tudor is looking to secure
his first win over Arsenal, while Gunners want to win this match to extend
their lead at the top of the premier league title.
